If you are being sponsored by Angophora Press, then this page contains our mutual understanding of our working arrangement. For the purposes of this agreement, "you" refers to the organization or individual being sponsored by Angophora Press, and "we" refers to both you and Angophora Press.

Committments

1. Angophora Press commits to providing and managing a website that supports your organisation and its express charter, for a minimum period of two years, and thereafter until such time as the arrangement is dissolved by mutual agreement.
   
2. You commit to placing the Angophora Press logo, website URL, and tagline, on programs and publicity material produced by or in connection with your organization, for the duration of this sponsorship arrangement.

Principles

1. We agree that we have come together in an atmosphere of mutual co-operation and collaboration to create something of value both for ourselves and for the larger community.
2. We agree that the purpose of the website provided by Angophora Press is to provide information to the interested public relevant to the express goals of you the sponsored organization, and not for any other purpose.
3. We agree that any disagreements or differences of opinion shall be resolved by discussion and communication, and without resort to threats, demands, or legal action of any kind.

Responsibilities

For the purpose of facilitating the most productive and beneficial relationship, we agree that:

1. Angophora Press will create the initial version of the website, and implement major updates and revisions to the website as it thinks necessary.
   
2. Angophora Press will create accounts for people nominated by you, for the purpose of adding and revising website content.
3. Angophora Press will provide a reasonable level of technical support to people nominated by your organization.
4. You will provide Angophora Press with new website content (text and images) when requested.
   
5. You will make minor updates to the website such as corrections, additions to existing pages, and updates to pages labeled "News," "Forthcoming events," and so on, without requiring the attention of Angophora Press.
6. We will use email communication for all items connected to website update and management.
7. We both endeavour to fulfil our respective duties in a timely manner.

Really, the above is simply meant to say this: Angophora Press wants to help you, and you in turn accept responsibility for a few things that will facilitate that. For minor updates to your website, it's best if you do it yourself, so AP isn't the "bottleneck" for minor updates. The agreement also says that Angophora Press expects you to use the facilities provided in a reasonable manner -- if someone nominated by your organisation uses the provided website to distribute illegal MP3 music tracks, for example, then that is outside of the agreement and Angophora Press will take action accordingly. But mostly, the agreement is here simply to ensure that we all all "on the same page" about what we are doing here. If you have any doubt or queries, please contact Angophora Press to discuss them.
